A new beginning

A few notes for the dawning of a new year:

*There Will Be Blood is going to be hard to top. Really hard.
*Celebrity Big Brother is already very sad. It's a little too Alan Partridge. Cringey.
*The Merriweather Post Pavillion hype was, thankfully, justified.
*If you see this in time, Thrilla in Manila is on tonight. It's actually better than When We Were Kings so watch it if you can.
*The 'tache Brad Pitt has grown for Inglourious Basterds (that's how it is being spelled for the movie) is incredible. I may grow one and show what a non-Brad looks like with it. Maybe not.
*I've tentatively attempted to begin running regularly. My legs are proper sore. Any runners out there want to give good tips to a novice?
*Where the fuck are the gigs at this month?
*I'm reading Andrew Keen's book The Cult of the Amateur at the moment and am getting huge satisfaction from the hatred for him building up inside me. I'm going to have to prepare an email to him for when I'm finished. A strongly worded one.
*First hobby of the new year is going to be: get listening to Mastodon.
Here's more 'tache

Jaysus, its the ruminating on the 30th birthday that done it (the start of running)?. Get good running shoes. I ordered a sedate blue pair but they sent me flourescent orange ones which publically write athletic cheques my body can't cash. but theyre very comfy and light. Stretch. if like me you get bored running anything over 5k its handy to have a lecture from The Teaching Company (100s available on torrent) to pass the time. And please dont be one of the many, many people who think it original and amusing to have eye of the tiger or the ilk to get them through the last few hundred metres, South of Heaven from Decade of Aggression is much more satisfying.

Haha, 5km? Forget that for the moment. Try .5km
I will get good runners fo' sho'.
Feel bolloxed after Xmas and New Year thanks to undeserved overindulgence. Decided to attempt a New Year of fitness. I shall see how it goes but all you fuckers (Mart, you,j etc.,) are the speed demons. I'll stick at the back where it's safe and nicely-paced.

Good man. I havnt run for3 months at this stage, work and weather got too much in last while but am motivated to go out now. I splashed out on some asics T recommended, were pricey, 120 I think , but are like slippers weight and comfort wise. After running for 5mths in regular adidas or whatever they were like feathers. Make sure stretch after too itll save on the pain.Fairplay tho, once you get hooked on the endorphins youll be grand.

Yeah, the new light i saw him in was that of a puppet mouthpiece racist bollocks. I hadn't realised the extent to which he had been manipulated by the Nation of Islam at all and just how much of a dick he was around that time. The post-fight interview he does where he is totally exhausted and actually praises Frazier's fighting is powerful stuff.

Fucking fuck you all. You've suceeded in making me feel horrendously guilty for missing kickboxing so far this year.

I'm never coming back here. Never I say.

I'm all for ya growing a tache bro just as long as it's not the Morgan Spurlock handlebar model you sported a while back. Not cool even in an 'ironic student' way. And on another note, Zoids ha ha! :D
